The First Floor Reconfiguration

The Brief
For this two part project, the client wanted to reconfigure the first floor layout to add a new ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom and then update the family bathroom.
Part 1
Ensuite Addition
The clients bedroom was large with under utilised space, and by adjusting the positioning of the walls between the three bedrooms we could create room for a deceptively spacious ensuite.

We worked with the client to design a sleek, simple and calm room with a hotel bathroom vibe by using stone effect tiles, a gorgeous wall hung vanity and a huge mirror.

Part 2
Family Bathroom
The update of the family bathroom was designed to suit the clients two daughters, aged 7 and 12, as well as for use by guests. A key issue to be addressed was the lack of storage in the existing bathroom.

The clients disliked the lack of space, lack of storage and the unattractive, dated decor. They wanted an appealing, functional space, that was easy to clean and had some personal touches and colour pops.
By removing bulky boxings and changing the separate shower enclosure for a shower over the bath we could easily create more space and allowed the layout of the room to be reconfigured to allow a run of fitted units with plenty of storage.
